wow
my day sucked! So, i was at work and it was actually kind of a nice day. like I said to myself "wow this is one of the nicest days I've had at work in a while!" I was all done w/everything, and I was gonna leve at 4! an hour earlier then I've been leaving! I was stoked. Then...as I'm cleaning cages (about ten minus from leaving) this water comes up from the vent in the room I was in, and pseudo floods the room. I run to get bambi but I assume that it's prolly not a big deal. she looks at it, has a similar consensus and then goes and checks Dr. Li's room (this room houses many many many immuno-compromised mice. i.e. they are very sensitive to germs and all of their cages are self contained and are on a self-ventilated rack blah blah) and as it turns out, the drain in that room has flooded too...with sewage. >_< So we got to clean up this huge and disgusting mess. it was fantastic.
