I really want to play turok. like, really bad now. The soundtrack is so majorly rad. I just, want to shoot dinosaurs, or aliens or whatever it in reality was. "Death Marshes" (track 3) is simply a brilliant song, hands down.

Thanks for reminding me. I get to pick up Subsistence today so maybe I can look for the game and get an N64 if they're cheap.

Turok is the first game I remember enjoyably and realistically simulating shooting a bow and arrow.

it's fun cuz you shoots dinosaurs to a kurt harlandesque soundrtack, with a bow and arrow if you so choose. I loved that bow and arrow.

Bows and arrows are so visceral.

Yumm.

I want to shoot something with archery now.

I used to make bows when I was a kid.
Not compound bows though.

I don't like compound bows. They scare me.

I loved that so much. All I used in that game was the bow and arrow until I got scared and had to cheat.
